On the long Easter weekend, the major construction site Stuttgart 21 opened its doors again - and around 81,000 visitors accepted the invitation to experience the impressive infrastructure up close.
The event has enjoyed great popularity for several years - far beyond the borders of Stuttgart - which is also shown by the coverage in the Tagesschau. Unlike in previous years, when all guests arrived at the same time, which led to considerable traffic jams on the paths, this time the event relied on a new concept.
